Vice president of Delux Group was interviewed by ZGC medium

Tai Pei international Computex, first pageant in Asia and second exhibition in the world, was held from first to fifth in June. It is the 30^th anniversary of Tai Pei Computex this year, so with its exhibition scale increases more than sixth percent over last year, and its turnover will break through two hundred billion dollars. New technology and new products for the first time will meet with the people of the world, which is eye-catching. ZGC Online has sent sixteen senior journalists to Tai Pei, reporting the latest news for net friends day and night.

The IT manufacturers and IT medium of the whole world will gather in Tai Pei for the exhibition in June every year. In Tai Pei Computex, we saw the booths of one of the leading manufacturers in the world, Delux Technology Co.,LTD., because of the dominant tone, green matching with white, giving us a fresh and bright feeling. What was more, we met vice president of Delux Technology Co.,LTD-----Wu Fangquan, and interviewed him, the interview is as follows:

Host: hello, net friends! We are watching the studio of ZGC Online in Tai Pei Computex, where is our Feng Yun Talks. Tonight, it is our great honor to invite vice president of Delux Technology Co.,LTD., Mr Wu Fangquan, to the studio.

First of all, Mr Wu, please say hello to everybody.

Mr Wu: hello, net friends, my name is Wu Fangquan, and I am vice president of Delux Technology Co.,LTD.. It is so happy to come here.

Host: there are so many advantages in notebooks and peripherals in Delux Group, so at this time, what kind of products you have shown us?

Mr Wu: We have taken part in the exhibition for three times since 2008. Before we attended Tai Pei Computex formally, our leaders have visited several times in former Tai Pei Computex, but it is our freechal to attend the exhibition this time. We have brought a colorful of products, including new style notebooks and new peripherals products, such as, new style keyboard, new style mouse, multi-finger mouse, touch keyboard and mouse, Case & Power，case of HTPC, many mid-high-range power supply and speakers.

Host: We have just seen that there are many Delux new products in booths, in your opinion, Mr Wu, which product can you introduce first to our users?

Mr Wu: It is our multi-finger touch keyboard. It is similar to our Multi-finger Touch Pad in this part, which can be used perfectly. It has been researching and developing, and it can come into the market in one month.

Host: Is it compatible with Windows 7?

Mr Wu: yes, it is used with Windows 7 operating system, super slim design and Li-on battery, which is leading in the area. At least we did not see any products as the perfect combination of high technology in the exhibition.

Host: Can we use multi-finger touch pad when Windows 7 plug into the keyboard without using other software? It is so convenient.

Mr Wu: yes, sure, it is the newest technology in keyboard field.

Host; Will multi-touch keyboard be a trend in the future?

Mr Wu: I think so. Multi-touch, including multi-touch mouse, is developed by few manufactures, and our products will be on the market soon. We will make best use of multi-touch technology to develop product serials. Besides, we will develop kinds of products which are suitable for different customer groups. It is very convenient to use our products.

 Host: I have just seen that there is no common scroll in your mouse, but touch it by your fingers.

Mr Wu: well, it is one of unique feature of the mouse, what I have said before, multi-touch, certainly, it is also leading in the mouse area.

Host: I also have seen a small numeric keyboard, is it developed for the gamers? Could you introduce it to us?

Mr Wu: It is the newest game keyboard for professional gamers. If it plugs into computer, it will shine, which is so beautiful. Because of that, we can also use it at night. It is a new technology, and only Logitech can develop the products. However, at present, there are no similar products in domestic enterprises.

Host: Aiming at satisfying gamers’ demands, whether segmentation products can be a streamline of peripheral design?

 Mr Wu: of course, it is necessary. The high side cases, we developed, are also catering to gamers, and so professional keyboard and mouse combo do. The segmentation products of the market will be significant. In the past, everybody can use them. But more professional the customers are; more products the company develops. We will cater to different level customer groups.

Host: No matter what it is, we will use what we can and what is suitable for us. When the users choose products, in some way, it is according with their tastes. For example, when the gamers choose the keyboards, they think that they are so cool and can improve their skills.

Mr Wu: It is a beginner. Different levels of products will be on the market bit by bit.

Host: At the beginning of the interview, we talked about the red mouse, why do you call it the sky mouse?

Mr Wu: We can use it in the sky, which the common mouse can not have the function. Nevertheless, our products can do it completely. When we report with PPT, many functions can be realized by using the sky mouse. It is also a new technology in the area.

Host: After your introduction, I realize that products will put more and more humanity and integrated technology together. For example, a mouse can include the controlling of PPT, multi-touch keyboard and laptop touch pad.

Mr Wu: New technology, new process will be achieved in the peripheral products, and can be widely used and recognized by consumers

Host: Having seen other manufactures’ products, in your eyes, what is the trend about peripheral products, especially about keyboard and mouse?

Mr Wu: I did not have time to have a look at the exhibition carefully. The traditional peripheral products of multi-touch are used widely, and so does Bluetooth technology. So multi-touch will be a trend and used widely.

Host: What percentage the peripheral products with wireless Bluetooth technology will take up in the future?

Mr Wu: temporarily, there is no certain portion about that, but in my company, it will take a bigger and bigger range every year.

Host: I pay great attention to the Bluetooth products. In the past, that Bluetooth products are expensive, so in price, will it have any advantages in the future?

Mr Wu: Bluetooth products, which we have just developed, are not yet in maturation period. Like the other products, when developed by more and more manufactures, its cost will be lower and lower. It is benefit for our customers.

 Host: We just have talked so much about peripheral products, and than, let us talk about a hot topic: E-HOME. In E-HOME, there is not only TV, speaker, gradually, computer is also becoming a centre. What is your plan about HTPC product?

Mr Wu: The corollary equipment of HTPC attracts our eyes for a long time. Last year, we have invested much money in it. We are strategic partner of INTEL, and we are professional manufacturer of computer peripheral. Moreover, we have sixteen professional manufacturing experiences in case, keyboard, power and mouse. To new strategies of HTPC, it is very important. For example, multi-touch keyboard has become an important part for HTPC. What is more, there are three or four style cases have been on the market successfully. Seen by everyone, our products

are touch keyboard, important Accessories applied in HTPC .and we have three or four new style cases on the market. In the investments, we and INTEL promote it throughout the world, which brings good effect. Now the sale improves significantly every month.

Host: HTPC, a brand new area, how much influence and force it has on peripheral industry?

Mr Wu: it is a new opportunity for the area. Many manufactures have paid great attention to it. Actually, it is how we will do it. The competition between HTPC peripheral will be increasingly intense. To me is a new threshold that peripheral manufacturer raise more and higher demand. We can not do everything but depends on the level of profession. Peripheral manufacturers have a very good opportunity.

Host: Except for mouse and keyboard, what else are included in HTPC? Is there a remote control?

Mr Wu: The assembly of HTPC products is case, equipped with module and remote control, which is included in a wide range of applications

Host: HTPC is a wireless connection, which motivate mostly for the whole wireless peripheral products.

Mr Wu: We have made wireless mouse for five or six years. From 27T to 2.4G, it has been proved that we have become a professional manufacturer in the field of wireless mouse

Host: What is your point about the trend of peripheral product?

Mr Wu: New technology and craft will be a developing trend for peripheral product. Wired in the old days and the Wireless technology today have been widely used. No matter is 2.4G, Bluetooth, or HTPC multi-touch products, they will have more access to people’s lives and brings them benefits and the fun of live. The accessories are more and more convenient to use.

Host: According to your words, we knew that we have a higher quality peripheral product in order to pursuit a higher quality life. For example, whether the mouse is comfortable to use and how the keyboard will fits me better. What we have seen today, such as multi-touch keyboard and sky mouse, whether they have listed in the market, if not, when can we buy them in the market?

Mr Wu: Parts of the products have been in the market, some of them are during development stage. Gradually, they will be in the market. Developed products can be visited and given advice if there is a chance.

Host: well, as a domestic technology company, what is your view about attending ces, CeBIT, and COMPUTEX, are there any differences?

Mr Wu: the three exhibitions are very influential. We attended CES for several times, but in the recent years, we did not because it is not suitable for showing our products. However, we have attended CeBIT for twelve times since 1998. I think every exhibition has its features, in CeBIT, many new technologies have shown to us, it is more compressive. By comparison, in COMPUTEX, it has used more new technology. Though it is not as big as CeBIT in scale, it is more professional than CeBIT. The point is that our notebooks are very highly correlation with peripheral.

Host: By your introduction, it gives us a new and deep understanding of peripheral technology products. Now please say some words to our net friends.
